St. George's Day is this is weekend and we are getting in on the celebrations with our Beer Festival on Friday 21st - Sunday 23rd April. Join us for the festivities with real ales, ciders and English Mead. Plus a kids chill out area downstairs with blankets, toys and books on the Staturday. Pizza along with other refreshments will be served throughout the day. And prizes can be won throughout the weekend! It's Vegan and MADE SPECIFICALLY FOR US! Framework craft exciting modern vegan beers of quality for smart drinkers and forward thinkers.
Market Harborough Brewery started brewing in November 2015. The business was set up by Simon Shepley and Ivan Sheldrake to supply the town and surrounding area first and foremost with great tasting, high quality and hand made beers using the best ingredients. Their core range features both traditional and more modern styles to suit all tastes. All the beers are handmade on 6 BBL micro-brewery located in the center of town. We will be serving their Superhop Series – Wai Iti a session pale bursting with Tropical, Floral and Citrus aroma 4.1%
Très Bien Brewer aims to offer an often changing selection of a variety of beers. And we are lucky enough to have Très Bien Common Quail 3.8%, Palomino 5.1% and My Name is Earl, Earl -Grey Mild 3.3% in stock!
Abstract Jungle have brought to us Restless a sessionable hop hitter with bags of Simcoe and Amarillo hops. A resinous and fruity golden ale 4.5%. Abstract Jungle is a brewery project launched by Simon King, in late 2015. Simon has teamed up with Bexar County brewer Steve Saldana to upgrade and expand Bexar’s existing plant and use it to output beers from each brewery.
The brilliantly named Skywalker from Blue Monkey Brewery will also be available. A vegan, black IPA 7.2%. Blue Monkey Brewery was born on the border of Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire in 2008. In 2010 they built a lovely shiny new brewery in Giltbrook where they are now capable of producing up to 20,000 pints of beer a week. This might sound like a lot, but compared with the big breweries they are tiny.
These are just a few of the ales that will be available over the weekend. Alongside these there will be cider from Bottle Kicking Cider Company and we'll have a selection of meads from Lyme Bay Winery, Lindisfarne Mead and Cornish Mead Company.
